Discussion Series: Human Research Data in Practice on 22nd February 2022

Dealing with human research data poses special challenges for research data management. In order to strengthen the internal networking in this field within the Max Planck Society the Max Planck Digital Library is organising this discussion series. We therefore cordially invite all interested MPG colleagues for Tuesday 22nd February 2022 at 2 pm (.ics file here), to discuss current questions of human research data.

Short contributions of some minutes will enrich the discussion for this event:

Regina Goldschmitt (Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods) will talk about “Experiences with and Wishful Thinking about an (Ideal) RDM System”.

Short Abstract
Drawing from 15 years of experience with research data management at the MPI for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn, we take a look at the surplus values for – and needs of – researchers, information experts, IT, and administration. Or, put differently: What amounts to a good RDM system in practice?

Slides are available (only within MPG IP range)
